So I’m still on this topic of TRUST. For me, with the relationships I’ve been in, the journey I’ve walked, learning to trust, trust God, trust people, even trust myself has been very much like trying to walk a tight rope with a fear of heights. I’m not saying that I was the only person hurt in these situations and making myself a victim, no! I know both sides have their own stories to share in the pain that was possibly experienced. I’m just inviting you into this journey of me getting to know God more intimately and learning to trust Him through experience and revelation of His word manifesting itself to me through different circumstances.
After realising and having the revelation of God inviting me to allow Him to come into those store houses, those storerooms in my soul that I have left unattended and not maintained or cleaned very regularly and have become rooms stored with all kinds of unattended emotions and feelings that are looking for a way out to express themselves; and most of the time, when they do try to rear their ugly heads, we quickly push them backdown and throw out comments that we are ok. God has been putting His finger on some areas of my life that I find are still quite tender, they still hurt, they still provoke the stranded, the abandoned fearful dog like analogy that is in me and when touched produces a reaction or response that makes me see that I have to face these areas and allow God to be God in them and to trust Him with my life. When it comes to those areas of ones life that are fragile, raw, and when touched you react in a way that most probably doesn’t produce the kind of fruit that Jesus is hoping for, are the warning flags on the dashboard of your soul sounding off, screaming for attention before something really bad goes wrong.
For many of us, we have desires of Gods promises for our lives to be fulfilled, but for many of those promises to be met, their is a requirement from Heaven put on us and that is to get healed, get set free. Simply because if we don’t, those past memories, those emotions and feelings that are stored away in those store rooms in your soul are not dealt with; they will cause you to react or respond to people in a way that will most likely sabotage what may have been there to be a gift and blessing in your life. The Word of God encourages, or if you will, it instructs us to not give the devil a foothold in our lives. This is why for deep inner healing in most cases to take place requires you, the hurting, angry individual to FORGIVE the person that harmed you.
I encourage to allow yourself to open your heart and soul give the Holy Spirit permission to search your soul, shine His light on anything that He wants to walk through with you and bring healing. I really sense that there are many in the church who’s hearts are crying out to be able to breath again, I hear sighs, deep sighs, and those sighs aren’t really bringing any relief but just followed up with another deep soulish sigh – I hear the Father saying, release it, let it go. Allow your heart to breath, allow your soul to feel and experience the freedom of having the weight of your past removed and released by my Spirit. How do I release it, how do I let it go? By crying, letting the tears flow, crying is one way your emotional being releases the pressure and stored up emotions leave your body.
Holy Spirit, I ask you in the name of Jesus to touch your children’s hearts right now who are in need of a release, a breakthrough in their soul, who need to let go of their past. I command all the wells of your soul that have been blocked by emotional hurt and pain to be supernaturally unblocked and released right now in Jesus name!! Any emotional bondage or layers of your soul that have been trapped in these store rooms of your soul or by the works of the devil to be released right now in Jesus name!!!
